The Great Recession of 2008 kicked off a revolution in financial technology with the creation of Bitcoin.  Over 10 years later, Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies are now being recognized as a potential threat to the traditional banking sector. Fueled by the people's distrust in traditional banking institutions after the crisis, the current disruption in technology has the potential to return economic power back to the people. However, most folks don't know what this Bitcoin thing is all about.  Thus, the purpose of this talk is to give an introduction to Bitcoin. This overview will describe why Bitcoin was created; who created it; and how the people can use it and other cryptocurrencies to provide a foundation for gaining economic sovereignty.  Hopefully, this will prevent another disaster in national or global economies from seriously impacting the people.

Over 1/3 of the world is still unbanked and without access to modern financial instruments such as loans, mortgages, credit/debit cards etc which would help move them from the grips of poverty all over the world. Digital Asset Tokenization and Blockchain technology are the beginning solutions to bringing everyone in the world together on a business scale beyond merely saying hello. "
